Each client has unique needs that are important to understand. My work includes supporting, advocating, and providing psychoeducation that includes recognizing a person’s race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender. I specialize in helping people work with their gender dysphoria, sexual identity, and sexual orientation in a supportive and affirming space. From social transitioning to gender-affirming surgery, your goals will be honored without pathologizing your gender. My methodology consists of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing incorporating a strength-based person-centered approach. I have been able to obtain board certification as a transgender care therapist, qualified substance abuse professional (SAP)/ DOT, and trained in Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE) processing and creating home studies for adoption purposes. My experiences range from child care welfare, direct services, and substance abuse disorder. I work and continue to work with people with mental diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, and substance use disorders. In addition, I continue to work with people who desire to be heard in their day-to-day barriers. Services are offered in Alabama
