Toni Jones

I am Dr. Toni Jones, and I have a Doctorate in Professional Counseling and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board-Certified Counselor, Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Mental Health Therapist with well over six years of experience and training in: Emotional Abuse, Physical Abuse, Psychological Abuse, and Adult Childhood Life Experiences; Alcohol Use, Substance Use, Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Dependent Personality, Obsessive Compulsive, & Narcissistic; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Suicidal Ideation (SI), and Relationship Issues. I identify as a spiritual being who is blessed to be a African American female Licensed Professional Counselor who is a Christian. My purpose and passion to help others on their journey called life has afforded me with experiences to witness blessings and lessons in a variety of circumstances and situations. These blessings and lessons taught me to lean towards helping others in life from a heart filled with forgiveness and an extension of grace. This way, I can help the people I’m blessed to work with overcome whatever actions or behaviors that might be a barrier to their joy, peace, and happiness. I prefer to use an integrative theoretical orientation approach which is a combination of therapeutic strategies grounded from a humanistic philosophy to best embrace and provide respect for differences, uniqueness, and consideration of life experiences, cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities that will assist any individual in achieving one’s desired treatment goals.
