Introduction

Anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles? No one makes it through life without facing challenges—many of which stem from trauma and relationships, including the one we have with ourselves. As human beings, we are wired for connection. Even when we've been neglected, abused, unheard, or disregarded in relationships, we continue searching for someone who truly understands us. Yet, past wounds can leave us feeling confused, isolated, and uncertain about how to connect. We may push people away even as we long for closeness. We might question others’ intentions, keeping our guard up. Or we may shut people out entirely, fearing yet another disappointment, betrayal, or abandonment. I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma in its many forms— military-related trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, and abusive relationships in both childhood and adulthood. Together, we can process these experiences, understand how they continue to affect you today, and work toward healing. We’ll explore the thoughts and emotions that create anxiety, depression, and inner turmoil—those persistent struggles that don’t simply disappear, no matter how much we tell ourselves to “just move on.” In our work together, we'll navigate the impact of trauma, relationship challenges, and emotional distress. More importantly, you'll gain practical skills to manage these difficulties beyond our sessions—so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. The goal is to help you feel more like yourself, reclaim the parts of you that may have been lost, advocate for yourself, improve relationships, and feel more in control of your life. Whether you're navigating PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, or depression, you don’t have to let past trauma define your future. Change is possible, and healing starts here.
