Introduction

Empowering You to Build a Fulfilling Life Hi! My name is Tina Huynh, a provisional licensed drug and alcohol counselor and mental health practitioner in Nebraska. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build a sense of self-worth. In our sessions, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Together, we can work through past traumas, negative thought patterns, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. You’ll receive confidential, culturally sensitive care, delivered with empathy and respect. My passion for helping others began in Nebraska, where I’ve gained extensive experience working with diverse populations. While earning my undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I discovered a calling to support high-risk adolescents through challenging times. This experience fueled my pursuit of a graduate degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where my focus shifted to empowering young mothers facing issues like substance use, trauma, and homelessness. For the past years, I’ve leveraged my skills and deep understanding of these challenges to make a positive impact as a certified advocate trained at Creighton University, I’ve advocated for individuals through CASA and youth mentoring programs in Douglas and Buffalo County. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of challenges. This includes those struggling with substance abuse, homelessness, trauma, and mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I’m also experienced in working with high-risk youth and adults, minorities, athletes facing unique pressures, and individuals experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. My therapeutic approach is centered on collaboration and building upon a client’s strengths. I integrate person-centered principles and mindfulness techniques to promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. My goal is to create a space where you feel empowered to heal and create a life filled with meaning.
