Introduction

Specializing in behavioral lifestyle change for youth, emerging adults, parents... and just about everyone else. My clinical focus uses evidenced based prevention and treatment approaches to identify client values and goals to achieve sustainable lifestyle change in the area(s) of behavioral, cognitive, emotional, nutritional, physiological, occupational, and/or environmental wellness. I offer different types of treatment, depending on your needs including: individual counseling, coaching, telehealth, or walk and talk. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS I am licensed as a professional counselor by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (C.1902348). In addition, I am certified as a Health and Wellness Coach by Wellcoaches® School of Coaching. I received a masters degree in Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Ohio State University (OSU) and completed my clinical internship at OSU's office of Counseling and Consultation Service and my post-masters fellowship in career counseling at OSU's office of Career Counseling and Support Services. I hold additional degrees from OSU in Sport and Exercise Management, M.A., and Education, B.S.Ed. With over 20 years of professional wellness service in higher education at OSU, I have supported students through academic, athletic, behavioral, career, cognitive, emotional, physical, and social wellness. I'm a partner, co-parent of two kiddos, a wellness advocate, and endurance athlete who has completed more than a dozen marathons, ascended two of the top four tallest mountain summits in the contiguous United States, and a two-time finisher of the Ironman ultra distance triathlon. I'm a co-author of “Student Resiliency: The Subtle Art of Wellness,” a workbook focusing on wellness and resiliency tips and practices designed for Generation Z.
