I am a cisgender, Black/African-American female, proud single mother and a licensed marriage and family therapist. I completed my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. I have been licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013 but I have over 15 years of professional work experience. This experience includes helping clients with relationship issues, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. I enjoy group dynamics so have facilitated many groups including Effective Black Parenting Program, Self-Esteem, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Case Management groups. I believe in treating everyone with respect, dignity, and compassion; principles of Cultural Humility guide my practice as both a Clinical Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. I will tailor your sessions and treatment plan to meet your specific needs in a collaborative process; additionally, evidence-based practices will be used to support your unique goals to move you towards living the life you want!
