Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in the State of North Carolina. I specialize in assisting clients process through trauma and reintegrating their traumatic experiences in order to assist in growth and healing. I have experience with youth and adults facing complex challenges such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma, life transitions, spiritual issues, and relational conflicts. Upon request, I offer faith based counseling services. I utilize an eclectic approach, pulling from scientifically backed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness Stress Reduction. I practice from a person-centered and trauma-informed approach and believe that within each of us resides the keys to living the peaceful and successful life we desire. Every person is unique and has their own unique experiences, challenges, and goals. As such, I use an integrative, holistic, strengths-based approach that is tailored to each client and their distinctive needs. It is my desire to walk alongside you on this ever-changing journey called life, to assist you with processing uncomfortable and painful emotions and experiences. Together, you will find healing and discover peace and learn to utilize practical tools to apply to daily challenges.
