My experiences starting off as a mental health counselor were challenging and as such taught me a lot about myself and my abilities. Initially, I struggled with performance anxiety and lacked the self-advocacy skills necessary to navigate the workspace. This experience allowed me the opportunity to look inward and understand where my difficulties were coming from. Through this introspection, I began to learn how to advocate for myself and as such developed a passion for empowering others to speak up for themselves. I have found myself drawn to helping individuals with relational issues, particularly those struggling with trauma, depression and anxiety.
