Stepping out of your comfort zone can be a difficult experience. In order to grow we must take that leap. My role is to join individuals taking those risks and create a safe place to explore the possibilities. My approach can help people develop new insights into themselves by healing trauma and recognizing their inherent strengths. Using their own strengths people grow confidence to be their true self. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and went on to get my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. I have worked in a variety of settings, including juvenile detention centers, residential treatment centers, day treatment centers and schools. I am passionate about healing trauma with the power of human connection while also utilizing evidence-based approaches, such as, EMDR, CBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Functional Family Therapy. When I'm not at work, I'm spending as much time as possible outside. I love to go mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, and backpacking.
