Introduction

Welcome! I am currently accepting new clients. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York and I focus on trauma resolution using EMDR Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and the EMDR Flash technique. I earned both my Masters degree and my PhD at Georgia State University and am certified in EMDR Therapy through the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA). I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and members of non-traditional relationships. While I am happy to offer general psychotherapy services most of my clients work with me to resolve longstanding trauma experiences through specific trauma-based interventions. I will always take your experiences seriously. I have an understanding that traumatic experiences can affect mood, thoughts, and physical health. It is my hope that our work together can lead to trauma resolution and bad experiences do not need to be relived or influence your everyday life. Please note that I do not participate in insurance panels and payment is expected at the time of service. I provide clients with a monthly Superbill that can be submitted to insurance companies for whatever reimbursement they offer for Mental Health Services.
