I'm a Psychologist specializing in anxiety-related conditions, including panic disorder, health anxiety, phobias, OCD, worry, stress/adjustment, insomnia, and tinnitus distress. I earned my PhD at Vanderbilt University, with my fellowship and post-doctoral training at McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School. I'm also an Associate Professor of Psychology at Whitman College, with numerous publications on the assessment and treatment of anxiety. In 2023, I opened a telehealth private practice after gaining over 10 years of experience working with teens and adults in university, hospital, and community mental health settings. My practice is rooted in CBT with skills and themes from other evidence-based therapies, including ACT and DBT. I value a therapist who is warm, validating, curious, and thoughtful, and I cultivate these qualities in my practice. I offer weekly sessions, with the goal of achieving initial treatment goals in 3-6 months. In addition to being a Psychologist, I'm a parent, the partner of a cancer survivor, and the organizer (and slowest member) of a local running group. Disclaimer: My clinical practice is not associated with Whitman College.
