Introduction

My name is Thom Wilder, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with training and experience in helping clients identify and cope with their challenges. Because you have your own personality, experiences, strengths, and needs I know that the most important thing I can do for you is to get to know you by listening in a safe environment. Then I can pull from my training and experience to develop a therapeutic plan that meets your unique situation. I work with clients in the following areas: Trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and work with Childhood trauma, Event trauma, Developmental trauma, Complex Trauma Mood disorders: Depression, Anxiety, Acute stress, Bipolar disorder, Anger management, Grief Relationships: Couples therapy, Communication, Pre-marital Counseling, Conflict management, Dealing with a narcissist, Infidelity, Divorce Process and Recovery, Gray Divorce Chronic Conditions Chronic illness, Chronic pain, Caregivers fatigue, Chronic stress management. I take an integrative approach to mental health. To be totally healthy we must pay attention to the whole person; the biological, psychological, and social/relational (bio/psycho/social) components of our lives.
