“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself” (Rumi). As a trauma survivor on a personal healing journey, I learned how to help others simultaneously. Healing was hard work, but finding the right therapist was a huge piece of the puzzle. Traditional therapy fails so many trauma survivors. I aim to go beyond talk therapy to find the right modality for each unique client. It is a passion of mine to work with clients who face problems of trauma, stress, and coping with depression, and anxiety such as military veterans, and survivors of abuse. I also enjoy working with couples seeking healing and shared meaning in their relationship. I hope to provide integrative and holistic counseling that is person-centered, neuropsychotherapy directed and focused on both cognition and behavior. I take a warm and non-judgemental approach to my practice and enjoy working with diverse individuals. I look forward to hearing your story.
