I am a professional without being robotic or impersonal. Your needs will be acknowledged and treated with respect and professionalism. I will utilize available resources to support your transition, whether returning to work or reconnecting with family. We will work on your personal, physical, and social issues or disabilities. After each visit, I will continue to connect the dots to assist you as you gain insight and clarity. THE CLIENTS SERVED: My practice proudly works with all individuals regardless of age, gender, and sexual orientation. I welcome LGBTQIA clients and all who have emotional or physical disabilities, including substance use and mental health disorders. I will work with you to meet your challenges, provide evaluation, and implement plans for treatment and development, including return work. THE PROCESS: Your appointment is "your time," whether for a brief consultation due to an immediate need or an entire clinical session. I'll ask for your feedback and ensure we're on the same page. Everything I bring to session and employ is evidence-based, with solid research and outcomes supporting it. THE FINANCIAL POLICIES: I am a private practitioner focusing primarily on your specific treatment needs for ongoing care. I am currently in-network with ANTHEM IN (PPO and EAP) and AETNA IN, Blue Cross Blue Shield IL to support my clients and maintain my clinical standards. Invoicing statements are automatically generated to your client portal if you're not in the network. They are quickly submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your member policy requirements. THERAPY FEES: Sessions may be billed in full automatically up to 24 hours before the time of service to the credit or debit card on file. Cancellations not made via a secure portal, text, or telephone 24 hours before the scheduled session will be billed a $50 cancellation fee to the credit or debit card on file and may risk the ability to schedule future appointments. THE CLIENT PORTAL: Active clients have access to the HIPAA-compliant portal, which is our communication hub. Telehealth sessions are conducted through secure encryption and are also HIPAA-compliant. Your session is safe and protected. SOME LAST THOUGHTS: Therapy is a process and commitment that will provoke awareness. A weekly appointment is the minimum requirement to remain active as a client. One or more cancellations may jeopardize your client status and will deactivate your portal and appointment access. Counseling can provide a stabilizing and positive impact on your overall well-being. The process requires the commitment of both the client and practitioner.
