Drawing on evidence-based therapies and an integrative approach, we help individuals, couples, and families navigate challenging emotional landscapes, achieve meaningful growth, and cultivate resilience. For professionals, we offer comprehensive clinical supervision and consultation, supporting emerging counselors through licensure preparation and providing seasoned clinicians with advanced training, case consultations, and practice development. At Wisely Wellness, our commitment extends beyond guiding our clients toward healing and transformation, encompassing the cultivation of a strong, thriving counseling community. Clara Bossie, MS LMFT-QS, ACS Clara is a licensed marriage family therapist, qualified supervisor, and the founder of Wisely Wellness, a counseling, clinical supervision, and consulting firm. Pursuing her Ph.D. in counselor education, Clara's research focuses on supervision, curriculum development, and self-compassion. Clara has advanced training in neurological disorders, including ASD and OCD, addictionology, eating disorders, and early childhood development. With over two decades of combined experience in special education and counseling, she has supported countless families, in understanding and advocating for children with diverse abilities. Clara's prefered clinical approches includes experiential family systems, DBT, mindful self-compassion (MSC), expresssive arts, exposure and responce prevention, behavior modification, and trauma informed approches like EMDR and prolonged exposure for PTDS. As a trained mindfulness self-compassion teacher, she brings a depth of knowledge to her compassion focused work. Clara continually seeks innovative ideas to improve client experiences and is committed to professionalism and enhancing counseling interventions. As a counselor educator and Florida-qualified supervisor, Clara guides mental health and marriage and family interns with a focus on professional development. She incorporates her "out-of-the-therapy-office" philosophy, blending practical experience with advanced methodologies. By integrating relational-supportive counselor development theory with DBT principles, her supervision approach helps trainees seamlessly transition from students to confident, competent professionals. Carman Gill, Ph.D, LMHC, NCC, ACS Dr. Gill is a licensed clinical mental health counselor licensed in Florida (LMHC) and North Carolina (LCMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) known for her warm, supportive presence and holistic approach to mental well-being. Her career began in the field of education, where she earned an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Southeastern College. Dr. Gill’s time spent teaching kindergarten through second grade provided her with a deep appreciation for human development and the importance of cultivating a nurturing environment from an early age. Building on this foundation, Dr. Gill entered the mental health field as a Thomas S. case manager, coordinating services for adults managing multiple diagnoses and transitioning from long-term institutional care. During this period, she pursued a master’s degree in professional counseling at Lenoir-Rhyne College and subsequently became a National Certified Counselor in 2003 and an LCMHC in North Carolina in 2005. Her dedication to fostering healing and growth continued at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she completed her doctoral work. While there, she gained valuable clinical experience in hospital settings, initially as a crisis and triage counselor and later as a crisis services manager. These roles strengthened her expertise in de-escalation, assessment, psychological first aid, and short-term crisis interventions. Dr. Gill is particularly attuned to the unique needs of women, offering informed support for those recovering from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, navigating major life transitions, managing caregiving roles, and coping with stress. By integrating her extensive experience, research-driven methods, and a focus on wellness, she provides clients with pathways to resilience, balance, and genuine well-being. Her clinical practice draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Expressive Arts, and mindfulness self-compassion. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), she incorporates trauma-informed and neurocognitive strategies to address the lasting impact of challenging life events.
