I Identify as a Latina, female therapist, who is bilingual (English/Spanish) I work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families of diverse cultural backgrounds. I believe in providing a safe, secure, and calming space. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches including, a strengths-based approach, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, exposure therapy, meditation, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, as well as cognitive behavioral (CBT). My areas of expertise include childhood and adult trauma, anxiety, adjustment challenges, intimate partner violence, depression, life coaching, behavioral concerns, boundary setting, self-esteem, and social difficulties. I have a long history of supporting survivors of intimate partner violence and individuals with lifelong traumas. We are all individuals with unique life challenges. I go into my sessions with curiosity, sensitivity, and understanding. I strive to provide a safe space where you can freely express the challenges you are experiencing at this time in your life.
