Introduction

I am honored to serve as a social worker at Be Mindful Clinic, supporting children and young adults and adults, facing a variety of mental health challenges, including social anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. My work is grounded in a deep belief in the resilience and potential of every individual, even in the face of significant adversity. My primary focus is providing compassionate, evidence-based support to clients experiencing these symptoms, as well as bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to embark on their journey toward healing and growth. I approach care with a holistic and individualized perspective, considering each child and young adult's unique experiences and needs. By considering physical, emotional, social, and environmental factors, I tailor interventions to provide the most effective care. My strengths-based perspective emphasizes identifying and building upon each client's inherent strengths and resources, fostering resilience and essential coping skills. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting these evidence-based practices to the developmental stages and specific needs of my clients. My commitment to professional development ensures that I stay current with the evolving field of mental health, continuously enhancing my skills and knowledge to provide the highest standard of care. I have witnessed remarkable transformations in the lives of young people, from children regaining their joy to teenagers overcoming fears and young adults achieving stability and hope for the future. This work is more than a profession; it is a calling driven by empathy, dedication, and a steadfast belief in the capacity for healing and growth. My vision is to continue advocating for and supporting the mental health of young people, helping them realize their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. I am committed to walking alongside my clients on their path to recovery, offering unwavering support and fostering an environment where they can thrive. I am openly taking on new clients and look forward to supporting more individuals on their journey to well-being.
