Introduction

Whether exploring who you are today or who you want to be tomorrow, next week, or five years from now, I am here to support your journey of you becoming you. I work most often with young adults in the LGBTQIA+ community, and people going through life transitions, wanting to explore their identity, build self-esteem, and those experiencing effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. My community is important to me- I provide LGBTQIA+, gender, identity, life affirming care, incorporating mindfulness, expressive arts, parts work, attachment, and somatic interventions. I think of therapy as a collaborative process- you and I work together towards your goals. If your goals change, we change course; if you’re unsure, we get to navigate that together! Either way, I’m here to support you. If you think you might be interested in working together, get in touch for a free 15 minute consultation. We can discuss what you’d like to work on together, your interest in therapy, and I can answer any questions you might have. Call, text, or email to set up a time to talk. Looking forward to hearing from you! If you’re curious, here’s a bit about me as a person: I came to therapy by way of the theatre. I transitioned from my former career as a theatrical artist into that of counseling with the intention of focusing on bringing wellness to the lives of others and engaging more deeply with my community. I am now a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate in North Carolina, passionate about intertwining art with healing. I believe every individual has an innate ability to heal, an inner knowing that can guide us (when we tap into it!), and the right to lead the best version of our life as our most authentic self. My work is informed by my study of Internal Family Systems (IFS Institute Level 1 training) and internship at a LGBTQ+ specific mental health and substance use residential treatment center.
