Hi, I’m Taylor! First of all, thank you for showing up for yourself. I know deciding that you need support wasn’t easy. As a therapist, my intention is to help you get through your trauma and other painful experiences, rather than “get over” them. Above all else, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and how it can be the beginning of long-lasting change. Finally, I work with individuals of all ages and couples navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, adult children of parents with substance abuse issues, and family conflict. My therapeutic framework relies on interventions from psychodynamic, attachment/relational, and behavioral theories. This means that I believe in the importance of exploring your upbringing & family patterns, processing emotions, building skills, and cultivating a therapeutic relationship that is built on trust and safety. Brene Brown once said, “In a society that says, ‘put yourself last,’ self-love and self-acceptance are revolutionary.” By reaching out for help, you’re giving yourself the ultimate act of self-love. You’re one step closer to healing!
