Introduction

Hello! My name is Taylor Liggins, LCPC and provide therapy in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University for my Master's Degree and Psychology at American University for my Bachelor's Degree. I specialize in Perinatal Mental Health. I have worked with clients helping them navigate their issues associated with pregnancy & postpartum, life stressors, anxiety, stress, depression, mood swings, trauma, relationship difficulties, etc. My treatment approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, solution based therapy, and person centered therapy. I am also a Board Approved Supervisor in Maryland and am Perinatal Mental Health Certified through PSI. My counseling style is warm, open minded, and letting the client tailor their session to what they need at that specific time; maybe they just want to heard or listened to, or maybe they need help problem solving the next step to take in their life. The first step in receiving treatment is admitting you need help, which is the hardest and most difficult step. I commend you for taking action in order to regain a more functional, purposeful life. I will help guide you towards a healthy mental state by helping you process your feelings, gain insight/awareness, and to take action!
