I'm Taylor. I am an Art Therapist, Licensed Counselor, and a self-proclaimed nerd. I have a Master's degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Emporia State University. As a teenager, I struggled with making friends, poor self confidence, and anxiety/depression. Watching anime, playing video games, and making art were my primary coping skills. Now, I have the training and experience to help others who are struggling with the same issues build happy, healthy lives using art and nerd culture. I have worked with kids, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings including schools, teaching Martial Arts, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and residential treatment facilities. I am an active board member of the Kansas Art Therapy Association, teach Undergraduate Art Therapy at Avila University, and provide supervision and training to Graduate level interns and post-graduate Art Therapists.
