I am a trauma-informed Associate MFT who believes in each individual’s capacity for growth and empowered action. I believe that each person is an expert in their own lives, and my role is to walk through these internal landscapes with you. My hope is that I can provide a safe presence with which to shine a light on challenges and dark areas of experience so that they might be transformed. I also believe it is important to co-create a safe space wherein wounded parts of clients are afforded breathing room. I approach these challenges with compassion and an understanding of how societal constraints often fuel these concerns, and I follow the lead of my clients in terms of goals and pacing. I have experience working with adults and teens grappling with depression, anxiety, and trauma who may feel lost or overwhelmed by their experiences. I incorporate a blend of distinct modalities depending on the unique needs of my clients, drawing from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches In addition to my work as a therapist, I also enjoy breathwork, songwriting, cooking, and hiking.
