Introduction

Have you had difficulties making friends or keeping relationships? Do you feel like your brain functions differently in ways that you can't explain? Have you had a traumatic experience? Or are there questions you need to make sense of? This may be the place you're looking for. I work with neurodivergent teens and adults (Autism and ADHD) as well was a wide range of clients who have experienced trauma, issues in their family dynamic, communication, peer groups, self-esteem, and relationships. I am most passionate about working with individuals as they explore the deep parts of themselves and uncover new insights. Many of my clients work to improve relationships, gain tools and strategies for day to day struggles, and explore, process, and find healing from past traumas and old wounds. With specialized training in AS and individuals with ADHD, I utilize several modalities including an attachment-based approach in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT and EFIT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), CBT, Narrative, and Experiential therapies. I also offer telehealth appointments. ~Neurodivergent Affirming~ As a neurodivergent individual myself, I do not shame or pathologize neurodivergence. I aim to help you identify your strengths and areas of growth so you can meet your goals. ~EMDR Trauma Therapy~ I have been trained in the EMDR SAFE protocol, but also use other trauma modalities if EMDR is not right for you. ~Adults~ About half of my clients are adults. Many of the adults I work with have a late or suspected diagnoses, or simply need a place to process their thoughts. ~Couples and Families~ I have been trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for families and couples. For those who want to work through issues together, I help clients establish emotionally safety and create connection in relationships. ~Teens and Minors~ I am well-equipped to work with a wide range of ages using activities, toys, games, and various experiential tools. I have a wide variety of items that make therapy more comfortable and practical for everyone. Still not sure if this is what you need? Please reach out! I have experience working with a wide range of clients from ages 2 to 72, and I have other referral sources that may also be a good fit for you. Give me a call and we can find what you are looking for.
