Hi! My name is Tatiana Schwirblat and I am a MFT Trainee with the Integrative Healing Collective. Initially, my volunteer experience in Suicide Prevention inspired me to work in family therapy. I saw an active need to support people from a safe and empathetic space. Through my education, I formed a deep understanding of proper communication and what happens when we untie, what I call the "spaghetti brain", in every day interpersonal interactions. On an intrapersonal level, I am fascinated by the ways we can marry mind-body connection with spirituality to live full and meaningful lives. In order to do so, I incorporate breath work, mindfulness and meditation into my practice. I find that by understanding our own internalized shame, we are able to cultivate a strong sense of self-love to prosper individually and within our communities. In therapy, we will look at the scripts that run through your mind and the origin of those stories through a narrative lens. We will highlight your relationship to your emotions and dive into the ways the body offers us clues to understand our world without placing values (ex. good/bad) on those feelings. Ultimately, being human is both deeply gratifying and challenging. I am genuinely interested in learning about your experience in this world and aim to offer tools and resources that inspire play, self-expression and fulfillment.
