Introduction

You’ve gone through pregnancy, and the moment to meet your first newborn baby has arrived. As a new mom, thoughts run in your head like, “how do I take care of this baby when I can’t take care of myself,” “my body feels broken,” “I haven’t slept,” “this is how it is, so I just have to figure it out.” You feel overwhelmed, and question if you’re a good mother when you go back to work. At the end of the day, you just want to feel supported and know that you’re still you as you experience being a new mom. Then, you decide what works for you and your family and not to live based on “you should do this or you’re supposed to do this.” You're good enough! I'll provide a safe place for you as you share your experiences being a new mom without judgment. We'll work together on how you can feel supported, loved, and confident in your relationships with your spouse, child, friends and family in your new role as a mom. I'll give you some doable tips on how to manage daily tasks, teach you about postpartum changes in your body, mind and spirit, and how important it is to practice self-care. After all, you want your baby to get the best of you. I'm so proud of you for taking this first step to ask for help. I want you to know that asking for help is not a weakness, but you being brave. I can't wait to support you in this chapter of your life.
