I believe we are oriented towards health and growth. Even current problems can be the result of adaptations we made to survive a specific time or event. I offer my clients an embodied approach to therapy which allows space for the body to be a resource in healing process (breath work, Somatic Experiencing™, EMDR). I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University. Major course work included the integration of spirituality and psychotherapy. I work with children, teens, adults, and families seeking greater wellbeing and specialized in treating abuse/family violence, PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma resolution, women’s issues across the life span, group therapy, and parent support. I also trained as a 200 level Registered Yoga Teacher, Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner, and am EMDR trained.
