My therapeutic style is warm and genuine and my approach is direct and pragmatic. I use somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based CBT, and DBT in my work. Through those approaches, I assist with gaining control over emotions and triggers as well as looking at your thoughts. Traumas and fears live in the body and by staying present we can regulate emotions and relearn how to experience joy. A session may include talking, body awareness exercises, meditation, guided imagery, and thought investigation. I meet you where you are at and follow you. My job is to call things to your attention that I may notice along our journey. I am merely a guide in this process. You are doing the actual work and I am honored to be a witness.
