Psychotherapy is a tool people can use to gain support, express themselves, and obtain insight into life’s troubles. Much of my clinical work focuses on the exploration of identity and transitional phases of life, including the lived experience within the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, class, and religion. I specialize in providing care for transgender and gender-expansive youth and people navigating early adulthood. I approach therapy relationally, viewing the client as the expert in their life as we explore it together. My role is to facilitate the journey with the knowledge and experience I have acquired over the years helping others. I assist the client in gaining the skills to make their own self-discoveries and develop new ways of coping.
