Introduction

Got Grief? Losing a loved one is never easy. Grief is a complex and challenging process with no clear-cut answers. Ideally, you would want your loved one back with you, but that's not the reality. Instead, you are left to pick up the pieces and find ways to handle the grief. Grief can be unpredictable, with good and bad days. You may experience a range of emotions, from crying spells, anger, and frustration to guilt, isolation, and forgetfulness. You might have trouble sleeping and eating or feel like isolating yourself. These symptoms can accompany grief and make the journey even more challenging to navigate. During your healing process, you need support, validation, and a safe space to express how you feel without judgment. With grief, it can feel like you must pretend to be okay and keep going as if nothing happened. That's not fair to you or your loved one. Holistic Counseling Services offers a grief-approved safe space for our clients to share their journey. Our goal is to help you gain a better understanding of how grief works, support and validate your feelings, and provide you with the skills to navigate your journey in your way. You can also expect to let go of the expectations placed on you by others or yourself of how grief should look. Please don't hesitate to reach out and start your grief journey with us. You don't have to do it alone.
