Specialties: Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, Couples Counseling, Family Conflict,

Introduction

To be TRULY human and feel like one's TRUE self, we must feel connected to other human beings. Trauma and other hardships destroy positive connection to our TRUE selves and to others. Tamra specializes in trauma therapy and relationship therapy. After 10 years of working with youth in church ministry, Tamra became frustrated with the lack of tools in the Church to help people who experience trauma. This led her to acquire a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Tamra worked with at-risk families in intensive-in-home therapy. After spending several years with a local private counseling group, she currently has her own practice. Tamra is EMDIRA certified in EMDR therapy for the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and OCD. She provides EMDR individually and in a group intensive format.
