Tamra has a heart for helping those who are hurting by walking along with them as they navigate a sometimes painful season of life. She is especially passionate about marriages and is committed to helping marriages grow stronger, encouraging those who are facing difficulties, and fighting for those who have lost hope. In addition to marriage, Tamra loves to help those who have been abused as children and she understands the unique challenges they may face in adulthood. Our childhood impacts our perspective of life, relationships, and even the development of our brains. When someone has encountered childhood abuse they often struggle in relationships as adults. Therefore Tamra desires to help bring healing to their past in order to have thriving relationships in their present. Tamra has her Master's Degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary where she also received the Lucy Mabrey Counseling Award from the Department of Counseling. She is a member of AACC and board certified by NBCC. Tamra has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses the Gottman method for marriage counseling.
