I treat individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic health problems, and relationship issues using evidenced-based treatments that utilize CBT and emotional insight, along with "third-wave" therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. I hold a PhD in from UCLA's top-rated clinical psychology program and am extensively trained in holistic and somatic forms of healing (e.g., meditation, breathing, progressive-muscle relaxation) as well as talk-therapy. I have worked extensively with terminal cancer patients and truly understand suffering and grief of all kinds. I can be an anchor during suffering and do not turn away from pain. Working with me, clients can expect to have greater access and insight into their emotional experiences, as well as develop the tools to stay grounded amidst stress and change. I love my work, am always learning, and am honored to serve my clients.
