Introduction

Hello! I'm Tammy Harmon-Rodriguez, and I'm thrilled to potentially work with you on your journey to better mental health. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Women's Studies from The University of Toledo and a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions together. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety-related disorders, self-harm, crisis intervention, family systems/complex family-Gottman, anger management, behavioral issues, LGBTQ+and substance/mental health disorders. I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents and teens, helping them navigate the complexities of mental and behavioral health. My career began as a Social Worker working with dually diagnosed adults, which ignited my passion for mental health. Over the past 19 years, I've worked with diverse populations, focusing on dual and co-occurring disorders. My approach involves cognitive behavioral therapy, gender/culturally informed care, solution-focused therapy, and family systems. I believe in a client-centered and integrative approach to ensure the highest quality of care. During my time as a clinical director at Serenity Haven, I worked with dually diagnosed women in a residential treatment facility, where I developed a successful family therapy program and trauma-informed psycho-educational groups. From 2016 to 2019, I served as a clinical coordinator/supervisor in Toledo, specializing in adolescents, youth, and family systems, while also supervising the youth department's clinicians and daily operations. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where we work collaboratively to address your unique needs. Whether you're dealing with stress, trauma, PTSD, or any other challenges, I'm here to help you find your path to healing and growth. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out and take the first step towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
