Introduction

I am a licensed professional counselor with 16+ years in private practice and have a passion for helping others with OCD and Anxiety Disorders. I specialize in OCD, Scrupulosity (religious OCD), Perfectionism, and all anxiety disorders. My focus is on helping children ages 10 and up, including college students, and adults along with family members cope with a loved one living in the home that has an anxiety disorder. I use teaching methods and coach different ways to manage anxiety through therapeutic strategies. My approach to treatment involves changing the way the mind interprets anxiety through the use of CBT methods, decreasing obsessions and compulsions, and teaching coping skills to decrease anxiety while giving clients their lives back and giving them results to prove they can be in control of their lives without anxiety controlling them. I offer individual and family counseling. I use the most recent research-based approach and skills including CBT, Mindfulness skills, and Exposure therapy along with other therapies for these specific disorders. I help individuals suffering with an anxiety disorder learn coping skills to over-come anxiety ridden challenges.
