Introduction

Tammie Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with children, teens and adults in agency, educational, and clinical settings. She holds a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University and is an EMDR Certified Therapist. Tammie’s passion for working with people comes from her belief that every individual is uniquely created with a distinct set of gifts, strengths, challenges and life experiences. As a therapist, Tammie takes a holistic and integrative approach, drawing upon evidenced-based treatment modalities and methods to fit the needs of each individual client resulting in a flexible and inclusive approach to treatment. Tammie has experience working with a broad range of mental health issues and concerns, and has specialized training in treating trauma using EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and other trauma-focused therapies.
