Tamia Pleasants, LCPC. Founder and owner of NyLu Therapeutic Solutions, LLC, Tamia is native to the DC/MD metropolitan area and has almost 20 years in Behavioral Health/Counseling. Tamia is a Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified in EMDR - currently licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. Tamia leans on EMDR infused with techniques from IFS and Somatic Experiencing - helping you unpack issues head on; helping you connect with your own inner wisdom in order to live out your most favorite version of yourself. Tamia is also trained in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and currently works with ketamine as a way to address chronic depression, anxiety, and trauma. Tamia is only accepting new clients for EMDR Intensive Sessions, Perinatal related issues or for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy groups.
