Introduction

I believe strongly in the importance of counseling grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I believe counseling is not just about feeling better but being better at dealing with the feelings we experience as we face life’s challenges. With the support of someone to help us process or teach us new skills difficult times can become times of growth. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and specialize in grief & loss, cross cultural issues, faith integration, trauma and cross cultural issues. I have specialized training in Trauma Focused- CBT, a treatment that for youth that have experienced trauma. I am a licensed counselor in Wisconsin and a member of the American Counseling Association. Finding a new counselor is challenging and it's important you feel comfortable with your therapist. Reach out for a free consultation to talk about how I might be able to support you and your family during this time.
