I didn’t grow up thinking I’d be a therapist. At 17, I was pregnant—surviving more than I could name and just trying to find my way. But I kept going. And now I’ve built a space for people who’ve had to do the same. I’m Tal’Meisha Frontis, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHC-S) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I founded Keke’s Sunflower Garden Therapy & Counseling PLLC in honor of my late sister, Keke—a bright light who reminded everyone to “take care of yourself,” even while carrying her own storms. I call it a garden because growth is possible no matter what you’ve been through. You don’t have to be fully healed to start—you just need space, support, and the reminder that the light is already in you. I work with kids, teens, and adults navigating trauma, transition, and real life. I also provide supervision for early-career clinicians who are still becoming. You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out—just ready for something real. Come as you are. Grow how you need. Take care of yourself in between. All sessions are virtual across North Carolina.
