I'm so happy you're here. Being vulnerable with someone you don't know can feel difficult, so here's some info about me. I was born and raised in Hawai'i and received my Masters of Social Work from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. I've been working with adults, children, and families in East Hawai'i for seven years in community and outpatient settings. I'm a pre-licensed professional meaning the work I do is under the supervision and consultation of Teal Sargent, LCSW while I complete clinical hours towards State licensure. I believe that you have the capacity to reclaim inner peace, and within you are innate qualities that foster healing and personal growth. My role is to help you recognize and strengthen these qualities. I view therapy as an opportunity for self-exploration. I provide a non-judgmental, compassionate space where you can explore all parts of yourself, learn, and get unstuck. Together, we will cultivate curiosity about yourself and your experiences, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for who you are, so that you can show up for yourself and others in the way you desire. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to meet your unique needs, incorporating evidence-based approaches like Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to providing you the space to rediscover and nurture the strengths and potential within you, Talie
