Introduction

About Me As a seasoned life coach with extensive experience in career, life, and relationship coaching, I am dedicated to guiding individuals toward achieving greater happiness and fulfillment. I leverage a blend of motivational interviewing and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to help you build the tools necessary for organizing and strategizing in the pursuit of your goals. What is Coaching? Coaching is a collaborative process where we work together to uncover what’s holding you back and create actionable plans to help you achieve your goals. My approach is centered on empowering you, the expert of your own life, to take control of your path forward. My Ideology I believe you are the best expert on your life. Society often conditions us to place our power in the hands of doctors, therapists, coaches, nurses, midwives, and other experts, expecting them to fix our problems. I challenge this belief system, both in therapy and coaching. Recognizing that you are the best expert on your life, my role is not to change who you are at your core but to help you uncover habits that no longer serve you, enabling you to truly live your best life. Together, we will collaborate to create action plans centered on your objectives. This approach allows us to develop interventions tailored to your unique talents and characteristics, empowering you to build lifelong skills that will help you navigate future challenges and achieve your aspirations. My philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person, and is grounded in establishing trust through deep, non-judgmental listening, authentic sharing, and direct feedback. Coaching Process To ensure effective coaching, I will ask probing questions to get to the heart of your challenges and gain clarity on what’s essential to you. Through ongoing dialogue, we will define your objectives, identify internal and external barriers, and find practical strategies to overcome them. The life coaching process involves several key components to help you achieve your goals: •Focused Analytical Questions: We begin by answering focused analytical questions that challenge your thinking and perceived limitations, helping you gain deeper insights into your situation. •Weekly Sessions: We will have weekly sessions that either focus on different challenge areas or delve deeper into long-term unresolved problems, depending on your needs. •Root Cause Analysis: Together, we’ll work to uncover the root causes of your challenges, identifying the pains and gains associated with your goals. This helps us create more targeted and effective strategies for your personal growth. The life coaching process involves the following steps: •Establish Rapport: We begin by building a strong connection and trust. •Clarify Goals: We’ll work together to clearly define what you want to achieve. •Assess Current Situation: We’ll evaluate where you currently stand in relation to your goals. •Explore Resources and Options: We’ll identify the resources and options available to you. •Create an Action Plan: Together, we’ll develop a detailed plan to move you toward your goals. •Measure Progress: I’ll support you in tracking your progress and holding you accountable. •Calibrate and Celebrate: We’ll make adjustments as needed and celebrate your successes along the way. My approach is informed by my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, giving me a deeper understanding of emotional and behavioral control skills. My goal is to cultivate an environment where every client feels cherished, respected, and empowered. Diversity and Inclusion I specialize in working with Black and Brown communities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, bringing a deep respect for diverse perspectives and life experiences. My practice is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every client feels seen, heard, and valued. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and explore whether we are a good match to help you on your journey to personal growth and fulfillment.
