I have been employed in many settings, ranging from Behavioral centers for adolescents addressing mental health diagnosis as well as sexual trauma. In recent years, my work history has provided me employment within human services, mental health in community settings as well as working on a forensic unit with inmates who are working towards restoration. While working in the community, I have provided de-escalation services within behavioral centers, mental health hospitals, community settings, and private counseling with in-home services. I have engaged in partial hospitalization and worked with clients to stabilize themselves back in the community upon discharge from acute care. My desire is to work with families with family therapy to improve the communication with parents and co-parents to ensure the child's needs are a priority. While engaging in coaching sessions, I have worked with parents to effectively communicate so that they can support one another in parenting the child/children.
