I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. I completed my master's degree in marriage and family therapy at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. I've extensive clinical experience working with youth and adults who suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship dissatisfaction, phase of life issues, existential crisis, acculturation stress, and racial diversity issues. I'm fluent in English and Cantonese. I can also converse in Mandarin Chinese. As your therapist, I will seek to understand you and validate you. I will provide you with a safe space to process your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we will assess situations, evaluate options, and find solutions. My counseling style is warm and interactive. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and dialectical behavior therapy theories. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your personal and specific needs. I provide Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for trauma and Christian Counseling as well. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that first step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you! ***You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
