My journey as a therapist has been profoundly influenced by my experience working with children and families facing a spectrum of challenges, including child welfare involvement, family and intimate partner violence, and chronic mental illness. Through this work, I have supported individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, acute stress, and PTSD. Presently, I focus on working with parents and caregivers as they navigate their own mental and physical wellness amidst the strains of chronic stress, grief and loss, and significant life transitions, which can significantly impact their ability to nurture their loved ones. In my practice, I use a trauma-informed and holistic approach, valuing our collaboration as we jointly identify strengths, aspirations, and pathways towards improved health and wellness.
