Introduction
I have been providing Counseling Services for over 20 years since 1998. I received my Bachelor of Arts at University of Southern California, and Masters of Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles. I received my license in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2002. Since then, my work experience has included state, agency, hospital and private practice outpatient work. Since 2015, I worked at Kaiser Permanente with an outpatient population. I have experience and extensive training in a variety of modalities and varying populations. It is also important for you to know that I am Christian and provide treatment from a Christian worldview. Because I believe faith is essential to the health and well-being of a person, I may bring this up if it is relevant to our work together or if you bring it up. If you are Christian, or your faith is important to you, please let me know. If you do not want me to directly bring it up, please also let me know. I am trained in EMDR, EFT and Certified in Brainspotting amongst other treatments. These modalities work exceedingly well for Both Simple and developmental trauma and many other areas that have inhibited your ability to cope effectively in the present moment. I utilize Bi-lateral stimulation, using both a tactile device, utilization of bi-naural sounds, Tapping & Eye Movement. I incorporate these into the therapy sessions.
