Hello, my name is Susana Romero, and I have been a psychotherapist for three years. If you made it to my profile, you are ready to begin a new journey to understand yourself better. I invite you to engage in curiosity and exploration. My approach is tailored to each individual and guided by their pace. I help individuals who feel unworthy, underserving, unable to put themselves first, and having difficulty setting boundaries. I am passionate about helping couples learn how to connect cognitively, emotionally, and in their bodies. I coach/educate couples on creating safety, identifying individual needs, taking accountability, and self-soothing skills to foster co-regulation and repair. I educate parents in understanding the complexity of their child’s behavior, emotional needs, and developmental stage. I have the patience and passion for working with children and adolescents in co-creating meaning and space to tell their stories. I am especially sensitive to the loss associated with infertility and pregnancy. These forms of loss represent a silent journey of repeated losses not only for both partners.
