I am fascinated by the neurobiology of stress and trauma, how it is metabolized and how it can become stored in our bodies and brains, generating fear or shame and blocking us from the restorative care we need. With over 15 years experience in social work and ministry, I am passionate about building the relational trust, hope and resilience necessary for restoration. Research shows that an integrative approach to counseling can help reprocess stress and trauma in healthier, more adaptive ways, leading to greater joy, creativity and intimacy in our relationships. My goal is to collaboratively assist you in identifying and overcoming barriers as you experience a life worth living.
