I know from my own life that putting yourself first and asking for help can be difficult. I truly believe that we cannot pour from an empty cup. In order to be there for those we love,and achieve our goals, we must first take care of ourselves. I enjoy working with both adults and children, helping them overcome feelings of depression and anxiety. I am a mindfulness practitioner and teacher, and I utilize a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, stress reduction, and the mind/body connection into my practice.
