Sumara Wiggins is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Virginia that has provided mental health services since 2011. She is an alumni of Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Bachelor's in Social Work then Master's in Counseling. Sumara has worked with children/youth and adults in a variety of different settings which includes community based services, private day schools, and community boards. Sumara values respect, honesty, communication, and commitment, to name a few. Sumara uses different approaches to addressing issues in therapy to include Person-Centered approach, Strengths-Based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma Focused Interventions.
