Growing is hard and each stage presents a different experience that sometimes we don't know how to navigate. When there is a place for healthy expression, exploration and empowerment, these areas can get easier. Social work and therapy became my focus because I love to help others. I enjoy topics surrounding identity and I enjoy trauma focused work. As a TRA I’m especially passionate toward exploring the intersections of race and adoption. Finding your place at any age can be challenging; empowerment is needed through all stages.
