Introduction

As Dr. Seuss said, "Life is a great balancing act." He could not have been more right. My practice focuses on a strength based approach and ways to balance life. We cannot always control the difficult parts of life, but we can find things that bring you more joy and happiness, and learn effective coping skills to get through. 24 years of practice has taught me that therapy is about the relationship, and like a pair of shoes, it has to be the right fit to start your journey of self exploration. A little about me.... I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from USC in 1998, and my LCSW in 2002. My Clinical experience includes residential treatment with adolescents from foster care and probation, Program Management and development; 10 years as a Manager in Public Mental Health and for the past 8 years I have been on Faculty with CSUN’s MSW program.
